The Tranquil Shores Foundation is a registered 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit charitable organization that works for the benefit of those in and around our community who cannot afford recovery services. The Jimmy Johnson Fund was created to provide scholarships for those in need. The organization was founded by Mr. Chad Johnson, Founder and CEO of Tranquil Shores LLC (a private substance abuse recovery facility). Today the foundation’s goal is to identify and help those who cannot afford treatment, housing or a detox facility.
"Tranquil Shores LLC believes it is important to give back to our community. In addition to providing substance abuse treatment programs, we encourage our employees to give back by volunteering their time to worthwhile causes in the area."
"The generosity of our workers was so inspiring that we began to consider other ways we could serve the community on a larger, more focused, and organized scale. To meet this unique challenge, we worked with our community to establish the Tranquil Shores NPC, a wholly independent 501 (c)(3) charitable organization to work collectively for the benefit of those who are unable to afford recovery services."

In June of 2016 the organization’s volunteers will hold the 5th Annual Golf Classic to raise funds to assist those in need of recovery services. Proceeds from this event help support:
- Partial or full funding for an individual to receive detox, treatment and/or housing
- Educational materials and support to middle and high school students in our community
- Counseling for candidate’s needs assessment and application process
Since its inception in 2010, The Tranquil Shores Foundation has benefited hundreds of people in need. Thousands have been touched by the organization’s message of hope and recovery resources.
